I remembered that I am tall

Every Friday at work, we are suposed to wear jeans. So I went looking for some at Savers thrift store. As I was trying on a light blue pair of jeans, the women next to me commented that she wished her daughter would wear something besides designer jeans.

Designer jeans. Hmmmmm.

I had never spent time looking for designer jeans. I've been content with just finding pants that fit.

I started looking for designer jeans. It was like a mania came over me. I could not rest until I had looked through all the jeans: holding up my well-worn pair in front of a prospect, realizing the possible pair was too short, trying the next, then the next, and the next. Suddenly, the perfect pair was next on the rack. Stormy ocean blue with golden stitching. And they were affordable.

As I tried them on over my bicycle shorts, being excited that they fit even while I walked, I remembered that I am tall.
